How to Sign Up
STEP 1: Complete your Archis’s Institute for Sustainable Agriculture registration.
Click on “Register for Class” near the top. Complete it and click SUBMIT. This holds your seat in the class of your choosing and enters you into our system.
STEP 2: Compete the short University of Minnesota Crookston application.

STEP 3: Confirm which payment method you will use.
Civilian:
-Payment of $5816 to University of Minnesota Crookston (check or credit card). Email Laura@ArchisInstitute.com for details.
Transitioning Military/Skillbridge:
-SkillBridge permits you to use up to the last 180 days of Service to train and learn with an industry partner. During SkillBridge participation you continue to receive military compensation and you are covered by your military benefits. We will work with the UMC certifier to use your military benefits.
-Our enrollment Coordinator will send you a Letter of Acceptance for your command to sign off on once the AsIA application is complete. Please follow the Skillbridge process for your Installation. Let us knowonce your have obtained your signatures. Once you have the signatures, take it to back to Skillbridge office. They will need this NLT 2 weeks prior to the class start date.
-Go to www.ebenefits.va.gov and request an official COE. This will take 30 days to process so in the meantime send a screenshot of your COE months remaining to the Enrollment Coordinator. When the official COE arrives please email to the Enrollment Coordinator.
Notes:
-Tuition Assistance is a government program where your tuition is covered at accredited institutions. Depending on your branch of military, tuition could be covered up to $4000-$4,500. If you active military and your command does not approve the day class you may take the Night & Evening class and use TA to help pay.
Veteran:
-Class cost can be covered by your military benefits. We will work with the UMC certifier to use your military benefits. Go to www.ebenefits.va.gov and request an official COE. When the official COE arrives please email to the Enrollment Coordinator.
*Students will be entitled to a full refund of the tuition ONLY if they drop class PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY. There are NO REFUNDS as of the FIRST DAY of the program. All students are ultimately responsible for the total cost of tuition, regardless of veteran benefits, grants, or other financial aid that may be used. Archi’s Acres or University of Minnisota Crookston ARE NOT financially responsible for the costs of your tuition for this program.
GENERAL INFORMATION
You will need a laptop (not a tablet) to complete the work. You will receive a welcome email from the instructor Tony Lattner about 3 days prior to the class start date with details. Zoom times with speakers are Monday, Thursday 9am-1pm PST for the day classes and Tuesday 6-9pm for nights & weekends classes with the remaining class time spent with the instructor, on coursework, and completing your business plan.
As you complete each step of this process, you need to let your Enrollment Coordinator know so they can update your enrollment status with University of Minnesota Crookston.
