The following are the instructions on how to enroll, obtain Veteran Benefits and a list of lodging opportunities.
Due to administration requirements by Cal Poly University – Pomona, it is recommended that you complete your enrollment process as soon as possible to ensure you have a seat in class. These details include: (1) requesting your Veteran Benefits Certificate of Eligibility (COE), (2) registering for the class you desire on the Cal Poly University website, (3) Grant Application Opportunities if needed, and (4) logistics for lodging or transportation while taking the course.

Select the session you plan on attending.
Proceed to check out, as you would purchase any item online.
Complete the personal information required.
Method of Payment: CREDIT CARD / TUITION ASSISTANCE / GI Benefits
Please e-mail your E-Benefit paperwork and completed registration to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Also, be sure to include in the email your approved Certificate of eligibility (COE) that you received in the mail. If you have not received your official COE at the time of course registration, this is when you will send a copy of your screenshot with a promise that you will send a copy when you receive it in the mail.
Once Archis Institute receives this completed registration and payment confirmation, you will receive a Welcome Letter from Archi’s Institute with address and general info and we look forward to having you in class.
STEP 1: You will need to apply for your GI Bill and COE. Plan on this process taking 30 uninterrupted min. Make sure you have your bank account number and routing number ready.
If you have never used your GI Bill before, you will need to complete and submit VA Form 22-1990. This form is found at www.vets.gov
If you have used your GI Bill before, you will need to complete VA Form 22-1995. This form is located in www.eBenefits.va.gov
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING GI BILL APPLICATION
· In order to use Post 9-11 GI Bill, you must relinquish your Montgomery GI Bill.
· The “Effective Date/Start Date” is the first day of class.
· The program is a “degree program” not a “certificate program.”
· Your “Educational or Career Goal” needs to be input as “Get a bachelor’s degree.”
· The name of the school is “CAL POLY EXTENDED UNIVERSITY POMONA (SAT)”
· The address is: 3801 West Temple Avenue, Pomona, CA 91768
· It will ask “Are you getting, or do you expect to get any money (including but not limited to federal tuition assistance) from the armed forces or public health services for any part of your coursework or training?” You need to select NO.
*** The VA will send you your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) in the mail around four weeks later. When this comes in, you need to take a picture of it and text it to me or scan/email it to: email@example.com.
Finally, as you complete each step of these processes, you need to let me know so I can update your enrollment status with Cal Poly. Let me know if there is any way that I can help.

Select education and training
Then select the tab that says education and training home
Next scroll down on the right under the graduation cap picture to: Submit a question
Select create a new account YOUR OTHER ACCOUNTS ARE NOT RELATED
Fill out each section with red asterisk
Once your account is created select a subject COE
Then in the request section request:
Please send me a copy of my letter of eligibility. This can take 3-5 days.
Click on “Ask a question tab” after logging in.
Then fill the subject with something like “Requesting Certificate of Eligibility” then write a brief sentence stating your request.
